The event was presented this Tuesday morning in the Vizcayan capital, where its organizers emphasized the practical nature of a proposal designed to address the real needs of the music industry. This project focuses on fostering connections among sector professionals and enhancing their public visibility.
“"Must +PRO is born with the will to be a useful space for the sector, where people working in music can meet and generate real opportunities."
The professional program is aimed at artists, venues, companies, agencies, programmers, managers, institutions, and other cultural agents. It is structured through round tables, conferences, and networking spaces. Content will cover topics such as European funds and public policies, music economics, production in the era of artificial intelligence, legal aspects, and strategies for attracting audiences at festivals and markets.
One of the main focuses of the event will be the generation of professional contacts. The participation of 19 programmers and agents from outside the region is expected, who will meet with local professionals in ‘speedmeeting’ sessions and through a digital agenda tool that will facilitate the organization of encounters.
For the general public, the Must +PRO LIVE open program has been organized, with free access. The Bilborock venue will host eight showcases selected through an open call, offering a glimpse into the current scene. On May 13th, the first day, Heitxi, Julie, Supercremalleras, and Caballos Yonkiis will perform. On the second day, Idoia Asurmendi, Haize Arrosa, Olivia Orell, and Moloa Brothers will take the stage.
Additionally, the BBK hall will host two live ‘talk shows’ organized in collaboration with EITB, through Gaztea and Radio Euskadi. The event is sponsored by the Basque Government and the Provincial Council, and collaborates with the Bilbao City Council, EHU, BBK, GRUPO NOTICIAS, and other agents. After this edition in the city, Must +PRO will continue its journey in 2027 in Gasteiz.
