Emergency services extinguished a fire this Sunday in the vicinity of La Arena beach, in Muskiz. According to initial reports, the fire produced a considerable smoke plume visible from various points in the area. The parking lot was evacuated for safety reasons.
Reportedly, the fire did not spread extensively, and emergency crews found an access path to the origin of the blaze. The fire was located in an area of dry brush.
The smoke surprised beachgoers enjoying a warm day on the Bizkaia coast. Bizkaia Firefighters and forestry services were dispatched to the scene to manage the incident.
