The nominees were announced at the San Isidro Museum in Madrid during an event attended by Anabel Alonso and Jorge Blass, both members of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Academy of Performing Arts. The winners will be revealed at the Talía Awards Gala, scheduled to take place in Madrid on May 18, 2026.
Xabier Anduaga, the tenor from Donostia, is nominated for best male lyrical performer for his role in La Sonnambula. The Bilbao-based project Pabellón 6 is a candidate for best production work. The Gipuzkoa-based company Zirkuss is nominated for best company work, and Bilbao costume designer Ana Garay is recognized for best costume design for her work on Yerma.
In the best theater show category, the nominated works include Esencia (produced by Teatro Español and Entrecajas Producciones), Memorias de Adriano (Teatre Romea and FITCM), and Vendrán los alienígenas y tendrán tus ojos (Nave 10 Matadero and Pecado de Hybris). For musicals, Cenicienta, Los Miserables, and Wicked (all productions by ATG Entertainment España) are among the nominees.
