Basauri welcomes September with various events: library registrations, a children's race, a film premiere, and an art exhibition.

The registration period for Basauri's Libraries will be open from September 4th to 22nd. The service will operate from October 1st to May 28th, in Basque, from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This year, as a novelty, a new group for children aged 7 to 10 has been created at the Basozelai Social Center, and the schedule for the special Christmas library will be extended from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Additionally, the Kareaga festivals will take place from September 4th to 6th. As part of the festivities, the Kukurrustu Sports Club will organize the Txantxangorri Children's Race on September 6th. The race will start at 10:30 AM and will feature six categories. Registration is open until September 3rd on the website kirolprobak.com and will be free.
On September 12th, the internationally awarded Basauri film ‘Santa Zeta’ will premiere at the Social Antzokia. Produced by Manode Santo, the film will be screened daily until the 18th, with tickets priced at 7 euros.
Furthermore, the Arizko Dorretxea (Ariz Tower House) will host an exhibition of paintings by artist José Enrique Urrutia Capeau from September 1st to 11th. The exhibition will showcase medium and large-format works from the artist's last six years, emphasizing nature and abstraction.
The San Miguel festivals will be celebrated from September 26th to October 4th. The Mikelats Cultural Association has organized numerous concerts, including performances by Skabidean, Los Zopilotes Txirriaos, Akerbeltz, a Ska-P tribute, and Las Divas del Pop (tributes to Amaral, Mecano, and La Oreja de Van Gogh).
