Barakaldo and Arenas failed to secure any points in the thirty-third matchday of Group 1 of Primera Federación, extending their winless streaks as the season approaches its conclusion.

Barakaldo lost 1-0 to Ponferradina, marking three consecutive matchdays without a win, accumulating two losses and a draw. These results have placed the team in seventh position, just two points shy of the play-off spots currently held by Real Madrid B.

"I had said during the week that we needed to win four matches to enter the play-offs, and now we will have to win those four matches out of the five remaining."
