A total of 17 companies will participate this year: six from the Basque Country, seven from the rest of Spain, and four international acts. The program will also include six absolute premieres, one state-level premiere, and four premieres in the Basque Country.
Performances will be held at various venues across the city, including La Fundición, Harrobia, Bilborock, and the Kupula Hall of the Campos Theatre, among others.
This year, Dantzerti will also be integrated into the festival's program, hosting the EDADEI 6 encounters, which aim to combine education, research, and mediation in the performing arts.
BAD Bilbao has also organized several free activities. These include the EDADEI 6 encounters on October 16 and the Parkuir proposal at La Fundición on October 17. Furthermore, on October 25, the live documentary Fiestas Invisibles will be screened at Bilborock.
