As a result of the incident, terminal authorities and the Municipal Police are managing traffic to allow alternating entry and exit of vehicles via the bus entrance ramp. This situation is causing some congestion and occasional delays near the access and exit points of Bilbao, though traffic continues to flow under controlled conditions while efforts are made to remove the disabled bus.

Pedestrian traffic at nearby traffic lights and crosswalks is also being regulated to ensure the safety of passersby. Despite being allowed to cross, many pedestrians have had to wait for instructions from traffic controllers to prevent further incidents.
