Ormaiztegi Town Hall will improve its social services thanks to a new agreement with Ezkio-Itsaso and Gabiria, launching a new office and expanding citizen services.

The Ormaiztegi Town Hall is set to implement significant improvements to its social services following a new agreement signed with the municipalities of Ezkio-Itsaso and Gabiria. This collaboration will enable the three towns to share the roles of a social worker and a social services administrator, thereby boosting the service's efficiency and accessibility.
A key change involves the restructuring of the office. Previously, the social worker was solely responsible for all office duties. Now, an administrator will be added to the service, relieving the social worker of administrative tasks and allowing them to focus more on their primary role.
The service offering will also be expanded from two to three days per week. Henceforth, the social worker will be available at the office on Tuesdays and Fridays, while the welfare office administrator will be present on Thursdays. The operating hours will remain from 08:00 to 14:00 daily.
To enhance citizen engagement, direct telephone assistance will be available from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 14:00, at the number 603730114. Additionally, the contact email address is gizarte@ormaiztegi.eus.
