The Ordizia Town Hall has opened its 2026 subsidy call aimed at individuals who have completed courses to obtain leisure monitor or director titles, as well as for sports educators and trainers who have undertaken sports training courses in Basque. The objective of these grants is to promote training in Basque and reinforce its use in the fields of leisure and sports.
Those eligible to apply for subsidies to obtain a leisure monitor or director title are individuals registered in Ordizia who have completed their training during the 2024-2025 or 2025-2026 academic years. For sports training, applications will be accepted from those who have completed courses in Basque and are coaches or educators for a sports club in Ordizia, or are registered in the municipality.
The courses must have been taught in Basque and be approved by the Basque Government. Furthermore, for courses leading to a leisure monitor or director title, candidates must have successfully completed both the theoretical and practical components.
The Town Hall has allocated a budget of 1,000 euros for these subsidies. The grants will be awarded through a direct concession procedure, provided that the applications meet the requirements established in the call.
Applications can be submitted until December 4, 2026, at the Citizen Attention Office (Kale Nagusia 26, ground floor), between 08:00 and 13:30, or online through the website www.ordizia.eus.
All information and requirements for submitting applications can be consulted on the Ordizia Town Hall's website.
