The musical Eros eta Afroditaren aitortzak by the Elur Etxea company is set to return to the Goierri region, kicking off the Udaberria Transloratzen cycle. Following its preview in Legorreta in October 2025, the show will now be presented in a special format, with a performance aimed at students from Ordizia's educational centers.
Tomorrow, April 15th, students from DBH4 and Bachillerato at Jakintza and Oiangureneko will have the opportunity to enjoy the spectacle. According to actor Andoni Mutiloa, given the themes explored in the musical, this format seemed appropriate for its first offering. A discussion will also be held with the students after the performance.
The adult performance, meanwhile, will take place on Friday, April 17th, starting at 8:30 PM, at the Ordizia municipal theater. The main theme of this musical comedy is sexual diversity, and Mutiloa explained that they have focused on the "broad universe that lies outside monogamous heterosexual relationships."
“"We will talk about issues that we don't easily share with other people, including our secrets, desires, frustrations, needs, dreams…"
The play will address topics such as the transformations of desire, the automatisms that can arise in long-term relationships, and fidelity. Furthermore, it will cover concepts still unknown to many, such as PrEP, chemsex, and the increase in sexually transmitted infections. The musical's goals are for the audience to enjoy themselves, gain a broader understanding of current society, and reflect on their own sexuality.
In this medium-format show, two actors will be on stage: Esti Curiel and Andoni Mutiloa himself. The stage direction will be handled by Miren Gojenola. The musical's soundtrack also consists of 10 songs written expressly for this work, with lyrics and melodies created by Mutiloa. He emphasized that these pop-style songs are short, lively, and catchy.
The musical's synopsis introduces the protagonists, Eneritz and Josu, who, despite living in the same town, are not friends. After an unusual encounter, both realize they have experienced their sexual relationships with frustration but have chosen different paths to confront this situation. This encounter will have significant consequences in their lives.
