The Urretxu City Council has welcomed a group of young people from the German city of Wiesbaden this week, as part of an Erasmus+ youth exchange program.

The project involves 24 teenagers and 6 educators from both towns. Following the visit made by the Urretxu group to Germany in April, the German students are now returning the visit and will stay in the municipality until July 13.
During the official reception held this Tuesday at the town hall, municipal representatives welcomed the guests and presented them with local gifts. The initiative aims to promote coexistence, cultural understanding, and the building of new friendships among the participants.
The itinerary includes visits to sites such as the Igartubeiti farmhouse in Ezkio Itsaso, Tabakalera in Donostia, and activities in Pagoeta. The program also features workshops on batucada, circus skills, surfing, and a gastronomic competition before the final farewell.
