The main event took place at 12:00 PM. Following the rocket launch, the crowd sang the 'Ordiziarrak gara' anthem. The honor of lighting the fuse went to representatives from the Sociedad Azari, Club Boxing, Txindoki Atletismo Taldea, and a local resident chosen by popular vote, marking the start of the celebrations.
The morning began with an event at the San Jose residence, accompanied by the Burrunbazale brass band. After the official launch, the historic center was filled with tradition as giants and big-heads paraded through the streets, accompanied by local musicians, a key event for families in the town.
The festive program continues this afternoon with the cow-football championship at the San Bartolome bullring at 5:30 PM. Later, at 6:30 PM, the Garagartza square will host the circus show TAVOLE. The opening day will conclude with the traditional adult drum parade, which will depart from Buztuntza at 9:30 PM towards the Plaza Mayor.
