The aim of this initiative is to strengthen the presence of Basque in sports and support entities committed to offering training in this language. Sports associations in Ordizia that have a signed agreement with the City Council to promote the use of Basque in sports and that conduct their courses in Basque are eligible for these grants.
Furthermore, associations must be up-to-date with their tax obligations to Social Security, the Treasury, and the City Council, in addition to meeting the requirements established in the general subsidy regulations.
The application period will remain open until December 4, 2026. Applications must be processed through the telematic services on the Ordizia City Council website or through any of the channels provided for in Article 16 of Law 39/2015 on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
Along with the application, associations must submit a detailed description of the training provided in Basque, indicating the number of hours, the number of participants, and the topics covered, as well as the corresponding invoice or expense justification.
