Following the main weekend of the Santikutz festivities, the Legazpi City Council has shifted its focus to summer programming. Today, May 5, marks the start of the registration period for Uztalai summer camps and the summer sports program. Additionally, next week, on May 11, registration for the drawing course will also commence.
The Uztalai summer camps will run from June 29 to July 24 and are aimed at children from HH-2 to LH4. Parents will have access to a childcare service. Registrations are open until May 18 at the city hall or via the municipal website. The drawing course, organized by the Arkatza association, will be held at the Cultural Center from June 23 to July 18, for children and young people born in 2020 or earlier. There are 28 spots available, and registration can be done at the Cultural Center from May 11 to 29.
The Bikuña sports center has prepared a wide range of sports activities, including swimming, paddle tennis, youth zumba, youth crossfit, and outdoor sports. Swimming is for children aged 3 to 7, and crossfit for those aged 12 to 16. The remaining activities are for children and young people aged 8 to 14. Swimming, zumba, and crossfit courses will be month-long, from July 1 to 30, while paddle tennis, multisport, and nature activities will be offered in ten-day shifts, from July 1 to 11 and from July 14 to 24.
The registration period for sports activities will remain open until May 30. Interested individuals can visit the sports center, call by phone, or contact via email. More detailed information is available on the city council's website and in the brochure distributed at the sports center, the Cultural Center, and the city hall.
