The Lazkaomendi festivities took over from the San Prudencio celebrations last weekend and concluded this second weekend with a series of activities, including a timed walk and rural sport exhibitions.

In the morning, youngsters from the ikastola completed a timed walk from Lazkao to Lazkaomendi. Afterwards, children's games were organized at the Lartxai society and Ixurrene bar, accompanied by trikitilaris from Oin Arin and the Lazkao Txiki Music School.
The festive atmosphere continued into the afternoon. At 4:30 PM, attendees enjoyed a magic show by Thor. Later, at 6:00 PM, an impressive performance by aizkolaris (wood choppers), bertsolaris (improvised verse singers), and trikitilaris (accordion players) was offered. Haritz Goena and Joanes Izagirre competed in wood chopping; Iban Urdangarin and Iker Zubeldia performed bertsolaritza; and Gari Lizarraga and Iñaki Larrañaga played the trikitixa.
After the heavy rain at midday, the weather improved, and the sun appeared in the sky, creating an unbeatable atmosphere for the afternoon's activities. Many people gathered to enjoy the festivities and the good mood, bringing the celebrations to a perfect close.
