Members of the txosna committee read a statement to contextualize the events, expressing their commitment to not forgetting past occurrences to prevent their recurrence. They also extended their gratitude to various agents and associations for their support, including Manttale, Txanbolin, Egape Dantza Taldea, the Etxeberri neighborhood association, Berdeak, Aiurri, and Zanpatuz.
They highlighted the significance of organization, noting that experience has shown that much can be achieved through collective effort. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue organizing and encouraged citizens to participate, whether by attending meetings, sharing opinions, or assisting with tasks like setting up tables for the community meal or working shifts at the bar. The motto for this year's festivities was recalled: "United, organized, action is created."
The San Miguel festivities commenced on Thursday, September 24th, featuring a comprehensive program. Events will kick off at 18:00 with the Txorigorri Race, a downhill race for soapbox cars between Gaztelo and the Sports Center. Following this, at 20:00, a tortilla competition will take place. To conclude the evening, a concert is scheduled for 23:00 with performances by Super Lore, Lappa, Mevallar, and Ganbara Estudios, after which Dj Los Pintxes Juanes will perform.
