The San Prudencio festivities, which officially commenced last Friday, have filled the municipality of Lazkao with a continuous festive atmosphere, making it the main point of interest in the Goierri region throughout the weekend.

This Saturday, the celebrations reached one of their peak moments with the observance of Costume Day. The day was notable for high public participation, aided by favorable weather conditions. Imagination and humor were fundamental pillars that mobilized residents of all ages.

Among the most striking characterizations were nods to emblematic figures of Basque culture, such as Lazkao Txiki, alongside references to international pop culture, with characters like Hannah Montana. Thematic diversity was predominant, with groups of friends and families opting for elaborate and fun proposals.

The streets transformed into a true showcase of creativity, and the festive atmosphere extended throughout the day, which began early in the morning with the celebration of the LXXXIII Lazkao Cycling Race.
