Goierri Public Transport Demands for Healthcare and University Access

Residents of Goierri are advocating for public transport improvements, specifically extending the G07 bus line to directly serve Donostia's healthcare facilities and Arrasate's university campus, to ease daily commutes.

The G07 bus line, connecting Goierri to Donostia, is a widely used public transport option in the region. However, users are pressing for a significant improvement: direct access to Donostia's healthcare area, which includes the Hospital, Oncology Center, and Polyclinic. The current transfer solution in Tolosa is deemed insufficient by commuters.
This request aims to achieve a dual objective: providing easier access to healthcare services for Goierri residents and reducing car congestion on the N-1 highway. Healthcare workers who commute daily to these facilities also emphasize the need for a more direct service.
Furthermore, a long-standing demand for public transport service from Goierri to the Arrasate university campus has been reiterated. This request has been ongoing for several years, seeking to enable students and staff to reach the university via public transport instead of private vehicles. The mayors of Goierri have already submitted these petitions to the mobility department.
