Ordizia will be the main venue for the 2026 Goierri Jazz Festival, taking place from July 1st to 4th. The event, spanning four days, aims to be a meeting point for jazz music, offering a quality cultural experience for audiences of all ages.
The organization has highlighted the quality of the work accomplished, evident from the list of musicians who have participated over the years. They also expressed gratitude for the support of sponsors and collaborators, which is essential for the realization of such a cultural initiative.
This year, once again, the event will feature high-quality and diverse guests, including special concerts, various styles, and top-tier musicians.

On July 1st, Wednesday, at 9:00 PM in Sugaar bar, Dj Makala will kick off the festival with his concert-talk 'Jazz. Soul, Funk… eta DJak'. This project by Mikel Unzurrunzaga from Zarautz will offer a review of his artistic career.
On July 2nd, Thursday, at 10:00 PM under the Town Hall arcades, the Madrid-based Afro-Peruvian jazz trio Esencia Ternaria will perform. Brian Aching, Mateo Vazquez, and Jose Raul Machado form the group, blending the sonic richness of the Peruvian coast with improvisation.
On July 3rd, Friday, there will be two performances in the Main Square. First, at 8:30 PM, the Aretxabaleta-based group NHIL will blend organic pop with soul and R&B influences. Later, at 11:00 PM, Swiss singer and composer Lea Maria Fries will perform, mixing jazz, soul, and experimental pop.
On July 4th, Saturday, there will also be performances in the Main Square. At 7:00 PM, the Zirriborro Jazz Band, led by Edorta de Pedro, will dedicate a slot to the Goierri Music Schools. Following that, at 8:30 PM, the Barcelona-based brass band Hip Horn Brass Collective will fuse New Orleans tradition with hip hop, funk, and contemporary jazz. The festival will conclude with Luxembourgish trumpeter Daniel Migliosi at 11:00 PM, one of the most interesting names of the new European jazz generation.
