The Alotza nursery school in Ordizia has opened its enrollment period for the upcoming academic year, which will be free for families after its integration into the Haurreskolak Consortium, although registration must be done in person.

Starting next academic year, the Alotza nursery school will integrate into the Haurreskolak Consortium, bringing a significant change: the service will be free for families. The nursery has opened the enrollment period for children starting in September.
This year, enrollment must be completed in person at the nursery school itself, until May 4th, Monday to Friday, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This is because the integration will become effective in September, and until then, it cannot be formalized through Haurreskolak. For current Alotza users, re-enrollment is not necessary. Once the academic year begins, monthly calls will be opened to enroll children who join later.
Another change will affect the kitchen service. The Haurreskolak Consortium does not offer this service, so families will need to bring food from home. Nevertheless, the City Council is exploring the possibility of maintaining the service previously offered at Alotza. Therefore, families must indicate on the registration form if they are interested in receiving the service. In any case, the management and cost would be borne by the families (through the parents' association), although the City Council is analyzing possible support formulas.
The regulations of the Haurreskolak Consortium will be applied in the enrollment process and subsequent scoring. The registration form is available on the Ordizia City Council's website, detailing the required documentation. Additionally, further information about the service can be consulted in the Consortium's brochure.
