The commencement of reurbanization works on Arragueta street in Eibar will lead to temporary traffic modifications in the affected area, with an estimated duration of 20 weeks.

According to the Eibar City Council, the works on Arragueta street will affect traffic for the next 20 weeks. As construction progresses, partial road closures and clearly marked diversions will be implemented in various sections of the street.
Specifically, alternative diversions will be properly signposted, punctual modifications will be made to garage access and loading/unloading zones, and public transport routes will also see changes, which will be communicated in due course.
These closures will impact Arragueta street, with vehicles being diverted via Bittor Sarasketa and Matsaria streets. Third-category vehicles (trailers, buses, and vehicles over 8 meters in length) will not be permitted to enter.
Furthermore, there will be a change of direction on Arikitzaneko Zubia. This street, which previously connected Ibarkurutze with Bidebarrieta (downhill), will now link Bidebarrieta with Ibarkurutze (uphill). Vehicles longer than 10 meters will not be able to use this route.
Regarding the reorganization of bus stops in the direction of Bilbao, the Barrena stop will be temporarily relocated to Barrena 21 (opposite the DIA supermarket), and the Urkizu stop will temporarily move to Errebal. Both locations will feature advance signage and notices to inform users about these provisional changes.
