Coach Loren Barbado will continue to manage the Anaitasuna football team for another year, as the club announced on social media.

The season has just concluded for Anaitasuna, and preparations for the next one have already begun. Coach Loren Barbado will remain at the helm for another year. This news was officially announced yesterday afternoon by the local club via their social media channels.
Barbado will complete his third year with Anaitasuna, having arrived at Txerloia in the summer of 2024. In his first season under his guidance, the team secured sixth place, and this year they finished as league runners-up. The 'reds' have had a strong performance with Barbado leading them; the team finished second in the Gipuzkoa Honor Regional league, accumulating twenty wins, ten draws, and four losses, totaling 70 points for Anaitasuna in the recently concluded season.
Consequently, Barbado's team competed in the three-team playoff in recent weeks for promotion to the Spanish Third Division but did not achieve their goal. However, the team has qualified to play in the Spanish King's Cup; Anaitasuna will face a preliminary round, similar to their previous match against Getafe from Madrid, to play against a First Division Spanish team again at Txerloia.
