Donostia will host the Kalean Urban Fest for the third time on June 26, 27, and 28. The event was presented this morning, with organizers highlighting that the city will be filled with sports, urban culture, and outdoor activities.
Driven by the Gipuzkoa Basket Fundazioa and supported by various organizations, the festival continues to grow with a clear objective: to be an “open, inclusive, and thoughtful space” for all ages. Organizers emphasized that “Sport, culture, and sustainability are at the heart of the city”.
The main epicenters for this edition will be Tabakalera and Blas de Otero square. Here, attendees can enjoy a 3×3 basketball tournament, skate demonstrations and activities, climbing, table tennis, pickleball, musical performances, and a wide range of cultural and sports proposals aimed at the general public.

"Kalean Urban Fest was born with the intention of bringing sports to the streets and creating meeting points for citizens. Four editions later, we continue to grow, but maintaining the same essence: an open, inclusive festival designed for anyone to participate and enjoy."

Josean Ibiriku · On behalf of Gipuzkoa Basket Fundazioa

"Tabakalera is a place for meeting, creation, and coexistence. Kalean Urban Fest perfectly aligns with this philosophy, allowing us to open our spaces to new forms of expression and participation."

Edurne Ormazabal · General Director of Tabakalera

"Kalean Urban Fest is an example of how sports can positively occupy public spaces, promoting healthy habits and building community."

Iñaki Gabarain · Sports Councilor of the Donostia City Council
