Workers in the events and entertainment sector in Gipuzkoa have announced a strike for August 14, coinciding with the Aste Nagusia festival in San Sebastián, to demand better working conditions.

Major unions, including Teknikariok, ESK, ELA, LAB, UGT, CCOO, and CNT, have joined the call. Worker representatives have criticized the EUKI employers' association for their lack of engagement in negotiations.
This mobilization is part of a broader series of strikes across the three Basque capitals, with actions scheduled in Vitoria-Gasteiz on August 5 and Bilbao on August 26.
Staff members noted that complaints filed with the Labor Inspectorate have already resulted in penalties for companies violating regulations. The movement is supported by grassroots groups such as Donostiako Piratak, Bilboko Konpartsak, and the Vitoria Txosna Committee.
