Athletes from the Xeye athletics club have achieved outstanding results at the Gipuzkoa outdoor athletics championship, which took place last Saturday at the Mojategi track in Arrasate. Team members distinguished themselves in various categories and events, securing valuable medals.
One of the club's athletes won a gold medal in the U23 400-meter race, recording an excellent time of 58.13 seconds. This achievement reaffirms the team's high level in regional athletics.
Another athlete also claimed victory in the 200-meter open participation event, with a time of 23.43 seconds. Additionally, they secured second place in the 100-meter race, with a time of 11.44 seconds, showcasing their versatility.
In the 1,500-meter race, another runner finished second overall with a time of 4.15.61 seconds, being crowned champion in the U20 category. Another team member finished fifth in the same event, with a time of 4.17.71 seconds, and was third in the U18 category. Finally, a female athlete from the club earned a silver medal in the 600-meter race, with a time of 1.45.43 seconds.
