Eibar to Host Fifth Stage of Euskal Herriko Itzulia on April 10

Eibar will serve as both the start and finish point for the fifth stage of the Euskal Herriko Itzulia on April 10, leading to significant traffic alterations and the pedestrianization of the town center from April 9.

The fifth stage of the Euskal Herriko Itzulia will commence and conclude in Eibar on Friday, April 10. This event is expected to draw a large number of fans, necessitating changes to urban traffic flow. These modifications will begin on Thursday, April 9, from 5:00 PM, with the pedestrianization of the town center.
The stage will start at 12:57 PM from Untzaga square, with cyclists returning to the 'armera' town around 3:34 PM to ascend towards Arrate via the Azitain industrial estate. During the second pass, the peloton will arrive in Eibar from Bizkaia territory around 4:30 PM, traversing Otaola Avenue, Barrenengua, and the Amaña neighborhood, before climbing again towards Arrate.
For the third and final pass, cyclists will enter the urban area from the Maltzaga side. They will leave behind Azitain and the streets of Barrena, Paseo de Urkizu, and Errebal to reach the finish line located on Toribio Etxebarria street around 5:17 PM. According to the Municipal Police of Eibar City Council, traffic disruptions are anticipated in the direction of Bilbao from 3:30 PM onwards.
