Donostia to Host Cancer Race and Walk in May

The Against Cancer in Gipuzkoa association organizes an event combining sport, solidarity, and hope to raise funds.

The Against Cancer in Gipuzkoa association has invited all citizens to participate in the race and walk to be held on May 10 in Donostia, aiming to raise funds for the fight against cancer.

This solidarity event, which blends sport, solidarity, and hope, will start at 10:00 AM from the Alderdi Eder gardens. Participants can choose between two modalities: a 7 km race designed for runners, and a 3 km walk, suitable for all ages and families seeking a more relaxed pace.
The main goal of the initiative is to secure resources to continue the free services offered by the Against Cancer in Gipuzkoa association. These services include psychological support for patients and their families, social care, and prevention campaigns. Furthermore, a significant portion of the funds raised will be allocated to scientific cancer research, striving to improve survival rates.
