The Azpeitia Town Council has opened the annual period for applying for and renewing auzo-taxi service cards, targeting residents over 12 years old and caregivers registered in the municipality's neighborhoods.

This service aims to facilitate travel to and from Azpeitia's town center at a reduced rate. Beneficiaries pay 3 euros per trip, and if more than one person shares the taxi, each pays 1.50 euros. Those wishing to obtain a card for the first time or renew an existing one can complete the procedures at the Town Hall's Citizen Attention Service or through the municipal website.
The auzo-taxi service is available to residents registered in Aratzerreka, Eizagirre, Elosiaga, Izarraitz, Loiola, Nuarbe, Matxinbenta, Odria, Oñatz, Oñazbidea, and Urrestilla. Additionally, citizens performing care work in these areas can also use the service. The service subsidizes trips made with taxi drivers who hold an Azpeitia license and have signed an agreement with the Azpeitia Town Council.
The subsidized travel schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 20:30, and on Saturdays, from 09:00 to 20:30. It is important to note that trips made on Sundays and public holidays, as well as during August, are not subsidized. This measure aims to improve mobility within the municipality, especially for residents of more remote neighborhoods.
