The AmaHiru company presented the play 'Etxea' on April 12 at the Juanba Berasategi auditorium in Pasai Donibane, addressing the theme of housing and new relationship models with humor and sensitivity.

The work intertwines two different stories: the biography of a woman who has lived in the shadow of her husband and the struggle of a person striving to have a roof over their head. Past and present, different concerns, and two completely different lives grow on the same foundations, coexisting with many others.
Pello is the main protagonist, presented as overwhelmed by the need to acquire a home. His search leads to absurd advertisements, numerous headaches, and miserable offers. Finally, he finds a dwelling that he will turn into his home, and with it, a new lifestyle, meeting two and a half new flatmates and discovering a new way of conceiving family through relationships.
The authors have paid special attention to new models of care and relationships. All these themes run through the concept of home, as it is more than just a space; it is a necessary foundation for personal development. The sensitivity of the text and the use of metatheatre are noteworthy, keeping the audience captivated and educating them in the language of theater.
