The best national women's cycling will gather this Saturday on Álava's roads for the IIILegutioko Saria, which is included in the Spanish Cup calendar for the first time.

This Saturday marks the sixth edition of the Legutioko Saria, making its debut on the Spanish Cup calendar. Approximately 350 cyclists from cadet, junior, U23, elite, and master categories will compete on the roads of Álava, traversing parts of the provincial reservoirs.
The race will kick off at 9:15 AM with the cadet category, featuring the largest local representation, led by the RPK-Udapa team. They will cover a 47-kilometer route, including two ascents to the Aldoia pass, also known as Zubizabal.
Two hours later, the junior and master categories will start, completing 75 kilometers, including the same climbs plus the Olaeta pass. In this category, the field of contenders for victory is more open due to the absence of the current leader, Aitana Gutiérrez, who is in Belgium to race the Liège-Bastogne-Liège.
The day's races will conclude in the afternoon, with the U23 and elite peloton starting at 3:00 PM. They will face three climbs to Aldoia and two to Olaeta over a 90-kilometer course, aiming to cross the finish line in Legutiano around 5:30 PM.
Meanwhile, from Friday to Sunday, the Vuelta al Bidasoa will take place for U23 and elite riders. It will begin with a time trial climb between Guadalupe and Jaizkibel, followed by a 170-kilometer stage on Saturday, and concluding on Sunday with the traditional route from Hendaia to Irún. Participating teams include the Álava-based Oreka IT-Zuia Ingenieia and Sima-Cepial.
