The previous tender, approved in an earlier session for an amount of 900,836.53 euros, aimed to acquire residual fraction containers, their electronic locks, and all the associated IT infrastructure (cards and management software).
Specifically, an error was detected in the formula for evaluating the offers submitted by the competing companies. For this reason, it was decided to withdraw from the initiated procedure and approve a new tender. This new tender aims to acquire the IT system which, together with new ordinances and fees, will allow the implementation of a pay-as-you-generate waste management system.
“"I want to thank the board for its understanding and commitment, and to highlight the professionalism of all the staff of the quadrille and the commitment that all the municipalities show in this new waste management, in order to achieve the minimum quality levels required by law and, above all, deserved by the citizens."
However, this decision has not been free from criticism from the PNV, which has denounced “the improvisation and lack of solvency of EH Bildu at the head of the Quadrille” and expressed its concern about the situation created.
