The rowing team from Orio continues its season with a busy weekend ahead. Firstly, the club's youth and veteran rowers will be in Seville from today until Sunday, participating in the Spanish Championship of Fixed Seat. This event will bring together 62 clubs and 372 boats from across the country. Orio Arraunketa Elkartea will present ten boats, six in the youth category and four in the veteran category.
Secondly, on Saturday, the Eusko Label and Euskotren leagues will hold their race days. The main male and female crews from Orio will compete for the XVII and VIII Banderas of Bilbao. The women's regatta will start at 5:20 PM, and the men's at 6:15 PM. Additionally, rowers from the KAE 1 category will participate in the 34th San Juan de Luz Regatta on Saturday, starting at 5:30 PM, with the Orio B boat competing.
To round off the weekend, the Orio team will have their next event in Zierbena (Bizkaia), where rounds of the Eusko Label and Euskotren leagues will take place. The women's race will begin at 11:25 AM, and the men's around 12:20 PM. On Sunday, the KAE 1 men and the ETE league women will compete in time trials in Zarautz, starting at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, respectively.
