Mañaria is set to embrace the month of June with a comprehensive and varied program of activities designed for all audiences, bringing life to the town.

The month kicks off with several events. Today, at 8:00 PM, a choral concert will bring together the local group Kirikiño, Xuxurlariak from Amorebieta, and Pispillu from Ermua.
One of the highlights will be on the 12th, with the XXVII Meeting of Seniors of Duranguesado at the municipal fronton at 11:00 AM. In the afternoon, at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall's plenary hall, a video of last year's festivities will be screened, and this year's celebrations will be officially presented.
The following day will feature multiple offerings. Starting at 11:00 AM, the Albokar Rolla event will take place, combining demonstrations of traditional Basque sports (herri kirolak), Basque pelota finals, and musical performances. Concurrently, the Hontza Museum will host scientific illustration workshops aimed at families, aiming to introduce science and nature to children in a didactic and participatory way.
Additionally, an excursion to one of the most well-known natural spaces in northern Spain has been organized. On June 18th, Ursula Donea is organizing a trip to the El Soplao cave in Cantabria. The journey will depart at 10:00 AM from Artzubi, and interested individuals must register by tomorrow.
Furthermore, with younger residents and family work-life balance in mind, the traditional udalekus (summer camps) will begin on June 22nd and run until July 17th, offering recreational and educational activities for the municipality's children.
The program will conclude with the celebration of San Juan. On June 23rd, the eve of the festival, the traditional bonfire will be lit in Artzubi starting at 8:00 PM. The following day, a mass will be held at 11:00 AM in the hermitage of San Juan, followed by a performance by the dantzaris (traditional dancers). The City Council encourages residents and visitors to participate in the various organized events and reminds them that all information regarding schedules, locations, and registration can be found on the municipal websites and those of collaborating entities.
