The piece, built collaboratively by residents, students, and artists from the Eskuahaldunak association during the 2023 Durangoko Azoka, will leave its original site. The decision was reached this Wednesday during a neighborhood assembly to prevent the structure's destruction.

The Durango City Council stated that the structure posed safety risks and lacked a formal stability report. Furthermore, as the land is private property designated for public use, the absence of explicit permits from the owners made it impossible to keep the sculpture in the square.

While alternative locations on municipal land were considered, the lack of technical reports and the urgency of the situation led to the agreement to move the sculpture to the institute, saving it from being dismantled.
