On Friday evening, the terrace of the Inpernupe bar was packed to hear the music of the group D'Capricho, which blends Cuban and Basque melodies. The group consists of the Havana-based sisters Danieuris and Daniellis Moya Avila, known in the Basque Country for mixing traditional Cuban music with lyrics in Basque and Basque poetry.
Tomorrow, there will be a bertso (Basque improvisational poetry) session at Inpernupe. Featuring Uxue Alberdi, Amets Arzallus, Oihana Bartra, and Jon Maia, responding to the moderator Maddi Gallastegi.
The final two events of the program organized by the Inpernupe Association for its 40th anniversary will take place over the next two weeks. On June 27th, the II Potato Omelette Contest in Honor of Lierni will be held, and on July 4th, there will be an all-day festival to conclude the celebrations.
