The 6th Talai Mendi Trail race was dominated by high temperatures, with Ibai Makazaga from Orio and June Agirrezabalaga from Zarautz emerging as the winners on the 14-kilometer course.

This year's 6th Talai Mendi Trail saw a significant turnout, with a total of 265 runners starting the competition, surpassing last year's figures for both men (189) and women (76).
Ibai Makazaga secured his fifth victory at the Talai Mendi Trail, crossing the finish line in 01:02:03. However, the race record remains with Gontzal Murgoitio, set at 58:37 in 2023. The second place went to Mikel Usandizaga (01:04:08), and the third to Patrick Laqueche (01:05:08).
In the women's category, June Agirrezabalaga also proved to be the strongest, winning with a time of 01:14:42. The second position was claimed by Irune Lertxundi from Orio (01:19:46), and the third by Garazi Artola from Zumaia (01:25:16). All three put in a considerable effort despite the heat.
As a novelty, two hams were raffled this year. Jon Beldarrain (01:28:53) and Libana Taboada, both from Orio, were the lucky winners. The race was completed last by Gorka Arriola from Donostia (02:10:23), who was invited to return for next year's edition.
