Once again, the Haujijijai festival committee has launched its annual events, organizing the popular town meal for the eve of San Ignacio and the children's day. To provide information about these activities and for registrations, an information desk will be set up in the main square on July 16th, Thursday, and July 17th, Friday. The desk will be open from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
The children's and youth day, celebrated on July 26th, will be full of activities. Organizers have prepared a meal, games, and a parade. Youngsters will gather at 1:30 PM in designated areas according to their age groups: HH4 and HH5 in the plaza steps, LH1 and LH2 in the Done Jakue street park, LH3 and LH4 in the Frontoi Txiki, and LH5 and LH6 in front of the ludoteca. After lunch, they will enjoy games and a parade organized by Marea Arroxak.
Those wishing to participate in the activities must register at the desk set up on July 16th and 17th, paying 5 euros. In addition to registration, there will be an opportunity to purchase the new Marea Arroxak t-shirt; t-shirts will be distributed on July 26th.
Furthermore, the popular town meal will take place on July 30th, at 3:00 PM, in the plaza. To participate in this event, tickets must also be purchased at the desks set up on the preceding days. Meal tickets cost 10 euros, t-shirts will be 5 euros, and scarves will be 3 euros. T-shirts will be distributed during the town meal itself.
This year's festivities will also include inter-squadron games. The Olympics will be held on August 1st, at 6:30 PM, and registration will be available at local bars, via the Haujijijai committee's social media, or by visiting the information point.
