Garbiñe Larrea will conduct a course named 'Udazkeneko zainketak eta negurako prestaketak' (Autumn Care and Winter Preparation) on the 23rd at the Azoka Plaza in Azpeitia. The event is organized collaboratively by Argiak and Elkargunea, with support from the Azpeitia City Council.
According to the organizers, spring and autumn are traditionally considered suitable times for cleansing with medicinal herbs in the local context. During autumn, the focus is particularly on the kidneys and lungs to strengthen the body for winter. The course will cover selecting appropriate herbs for preparing infusions and tinctures, as well as exploring dietary resources.
The course is scheduled for Monday at 18:30. Tickets are priced at four euros for members of Elikagune and five euros for the general public. Tickets can be purchased through the Entradium platform.
Additionally, Argia's moon and plant calendar marks its tenth anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, Argia's 'Bizi Baratzea' series is organizing a bertso (Basque improvised poetry) dinner on the 26th, also at the Azoka Plaza starting at 14:00. Participants will include Jakoba Errekondo, the calendar's creator, cartoonist Antton Olariaga, and bertsolaris Maddalen Arzallus and Unai Agirre.
