Four People Treated for Smoke Inhalation in Durango House Fire

Four individuals, including a minor, received treatment for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a home in Durango in the early hours of Friday, as reported by the Department of Security.

The incident occurred just after 01:00 AM on Friday, on the fifth floor of Askatasuna Avenue. According to initial reports, the fire started when a candle fell onto a rug within the property.
Due to the significant amount of smoke, all four affected individuals were attended to on-site by medical services before being transferred to Galdakao Hospital. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, preventing further personal injuries or significant damage to the rest of the building.
