The Ertzaintza and the Department of Security of the Basque Government have conveyed their condolences and solidarity to the Navarre Police following the traffic accident in which five officers died. They have also extended their affection and support to the families of the deceased, as well as to the Navarre Police and Government.

The Minister of Security, Bingen Zupiria, personally conveyed his condolences to his counterpart in the Government of Navarre, the Minister of Interior, Public Function, and Justice.

The five deceased officers were on their way to the police center in Iurreta, invited by the Ertzaintza, to participate in a materials testing event.
