Residents of Pasai Antxo joyfully celebrate the inauguration of the new railway infrastructure connecting Errenteria and Donostia, at Plaza Gure Zumardia.

Residents of Pasai Antxo have enthusiastically welcomed the inauguration of the new railway link between Errenteria and Donostia, celebrated at Plaza Gure Zumardia. After five years of construction, the new station has now launched its services, and users have eagerly explored the new infrastructure.
Users like Koldo Gorostidi wanted to see the new infrastructure up close. "I use the Topo a lot," he admits, adding: "It's very beautiful and it's very good for Pasaia".
As highlighted in the neighborhood, the new station represents a "great step forward" for local residents and those in the surrounding areas. Amelia Núñez, a resident of Errenteria, is pleased with the new railway link, and José Miguel Lazcano, originally from Pasaia but living in Errenteria, a regular user, says he won't even have to worry about frequency: "Every seven minutes is an advance. And I loved the station, it reminds me of the Bilbao metro".
Alexander Pérez, an engineering student who came from Bilbao itself with his colleagues, pointed out the similarities: "It's very similar to what we've been inaugurating in Bilbao. It's beautiful and has quality finishes".
Amidst music and children's activities, residents celebrated the station's opening. Ramón Villanueva, owner of the Villanueva fish shop located next to the station, emphasized that it is "an advance," even though the works were "cumbersome".
