The Durango City Council will hold a Plenary Session in the coming days, where several important issues will be addressed. Among them, a proposal to modify the job listings to create two Administrative positions will be analyzed, thus strengthening the Citizen Attention Service (HAZ) and the Intervention department. Additionally, the initial approval of the Organic Staff modification will be discussed, to create positions for a Human Resources administrator and a Citizen Security agent.
The session will also cover credit modifications financed with treasury surpluses and the average payment period for the 2nd quarter of 2026. Furthermore, a proposal for the approval of the extrajudicial recognition of credit expediente number 05/REC/2026 will be presented.
In educational matters, the proposal to approve the delegation of powers for imparting Basic Grade training cycles for an additional 5 academic years, covering the period from 2026-2027 to 2030-2031, will be debated.
Finally, requests submitted by the company PREZERO ESPAÑA SAU for error correction and price review will be analyzed. These requests were submitted on July 7 and June 23, 2026, respectively, and concern the prices for street cleaning and urban waste collection-transport services.
