Durango allocates 476,450 euros to improve infrastructure and public services

The municipal council approves a credit modification to create a housing office and carry out urban works.

The Durango City Council has approved a credit modification of 476,450 euros in a plenary session to finance various investments in infrastructure, urban maintenance, and public services.

A key project is the creation of the future Municipal Housing Office, scheduled to open in autumn. A budget of 66,050 euros has been approved to adapt and organize the space, which will provide information and guidance to citizens regarding housing access.
Regarding maintenance, 48,400 euros will be spent on repairing the facade of the municipal brigade warehouse. Additionally, 35,000 euros will be used to install lightning rods at the City Hall, the library, and the San Agustin Cultural Center to enhance building safety.
In terms of mobility, the council has approved 200,000 euros for a new asphalt campaign. Furthermore, 105,000 euros have been allocated to replace a pipe on Kurutziaga street, and 22,000 euros to improve traffic flow at a point on Sasikoa street.
