Next Monday, June 1st, a tower crane used for renovation work on a building in Artekalea 35, Durango, will be dismantled, leading to traffic closures and restrictions.

Next Monday, June 1st, the tower crane installed for the renovation of the building at Artekalea 35 in Durango will be dismantled. After the completion of the structure and roof phases, this essential infrastructure will be removed. The operation will be carried out by the company Construcciones Lasuen, S.A.
Due to this operation, various traffic closures and restrictions will be necessary to ensure the safety of both pedestrians and vehicles involved. Work will commence at 08:00 AM and continue throughout the day. In the morning, the mobile crane and necessary vehicles for dismantling will access the Old Town. While the operation's duration depends on the maneuvers, it is estimated to conclude in the afternoon, and in any case, before 6:00 PM.
Heavy vehicles will access the Old Town via Kurutziaga, Andra Mari, Goienkale, Plaza Santa Ana, and Artekalea, and will follow the reverse route to leave the area once maneuvers are complete. Additionally, Artekalea street will be closed to motorized vehicles throughout the process, as will a section of Barrenkalea from its junction with Zeharkalea to Lariztorre Kalea, including the entirety of Lariztorre Kalea. Punctual disruptions are also anticipated on Kurutziaga Kalea and Goienkale during the passage of the mobile crane and transport vehicles.
Furthermore, as part of the route and maneuvers will take place around Plaza Santa Ana, the installation and use of terraces at establishments El Arco and Izki will be prohibited on June 1st until the dismantling is finished. This measure is for safety and operational reasons, as the area will serve as an exclusive passage for the trucks and cargo vehicles involved. Once the work is completed, both terraces can be reinstated normally. It is also reminded that permanent parking is not permitted in the Pedestrian Zone I (Old Town) under any circumstances.
