This guide includes workshops, talks, courses, and activities for all ages, aiming to promote learning, well-being, equality, and shared enjoyment in the municipality. Each activity and course has its own specific registration deadlines and methods, allowing for online registration via the municipal website or in person.
The courses cover various areas: equality, Basque language, social action, sports, library services, and culture. The equality program focuses on women's empowerment and well-being, offering free workshops such as Nordic walking, cognitive health sessions, and self-esteem programs. Registration is open from August 20th to September 20th.
The Basque language department will promote conversation groups and the extensive offerings of the Municipal Euskaltegi (language school). Pre-registration will take place from September 1st to 23rd. Social action initiatives will include family schools and workshops for caregivers, with registrations opening throughout September and October.
For individuals over 60, the Nagusi Aretoa will host activities like theater, txalaparta, chess, cognitive gymnastics, and new technologies. Registration for these will be from September 14th to 30th. In sports, the Larrea sports center will offer courses for adults and children, including pilates, aquagym, swimming, and rhythmic gymnastics.
In the cultural sphere, courses will cover jewelry making, yoga, woodcraft, sewing, drawing, and painting, alongside special courses like traditional cooking and lettering. The library will host reading clubs. Registration for cultural courses is open until September 23rd.
Additionally, from September to December, various complementary activities are scheduled: the BBK's Art Route, exhibitions by Basque women artists, concerts in the Eleizetan cycle, and theater, dance, and circus performances at Zornotza Aretoa. Neighborhood festivals and street music performances will also add to the lively atmosphere.
Finally, key events such as Mangamore (Japanese Culture Days), Euskal Jaia (Basque Festival), Arimen Gaua (Night of Souls), and the Jokoan 2026 gathering are planned. Sports competitions, including the Women's Indoor Football Tournament and the International Cross Country race, will also take place.
