Álava Pintxo Week kicks off Thursday with 12 finalist establishments
The gastronomic event in Gasteiz, from June 4th to 14th, will bring together the finalists of the 2026 Álava Pintxo Championship.

The Álava Pintxo Week begins this Thursday, June 4th, and will run until the 14th in Gasteiz, with 12 finalist establishments offering their creations.
Gasteiz will be the main venue for the Álava Pintxo Week, starting this Thursday, June 4th, and running until June 14th. This gastronomic event, organized by SEA Hostelería and the Miniature Cooking Experience initiative with the support of the Gasteiz City Council and the Provincial Council of Álava, will feature 12 finalist establishments from the 2026 Álava Pintxo Championship.
The championship's semi-finals took place last week at the Mendizorroza Hospitality School, while the grand final will be held on June 17th at Peña Vitoriana, as announced during the presentation.

The organizers also provided details about the hospitality establishments that will offer their creations to the public during the 2026 Álava Pintxo Week: Asador Sagartoki (with the 'San Pru' pintxo), Café ÉJazz ('Bocado de Sirena'), Cómeme ('Piparratun'), Dolar Coreses ('Volcán del Norte'), Manolenta Restaurante ('Oido Co-china'), Restaurante Antojo ('Komarka'), Restaurante Mexicano y mucho más ('Mar y médula'), Restaurante El Tabanko ('La reina negra de Álava y sus vasallos'), Restaurante Muskari ('Lambarda'), and Restaurante RG ('Un guisito redondo').
The price for all pintxos will be 3.5 euros. The public will be able to vote for their favorite, and the one receiving the most votes will be awarded the Public Prize. The winning creation, selected by a professional jury, will compete in the Spanish Pintxo Championship.
