The municipality of Elorrio will travel four centuries back in time on October 4th, Sunday, with the Errebonbilloak alarde and a wide program of events that will fill the entire day. From early morning until the afternoon, the streets will be filled with traditional music, dance, and pelota.
The day will begin at 05:00 with the Errebonbilloak's street parade. Following this, at 11:00, a women's rubber pelota circuit will take place in the town's fronton. At 11:30, the main mass will be held in the basilica, with the participation of the choir.
At midday, at 12:30, Jaizale Durangaldeko Txistulariak will offer a concert in the main square. In the afternoon, at 17:00, the alarde and dances will mark the grand finale of the day's main program.
This tradition, with over four centuries of history, will once again combine music, dance, and various cultural activities. The event is organized, supported, and sponsored by the Elorrio City Council, Elorrioko Errebonbilloak, Munduko Pilota Batzarra, Hori Hori Elorrio Pilota Kluba, the Basilica Choir, and Jaizale Durangaldeko Txistulariak.
