The feminist association of Aiaraldea, Bor-bor, has organized an initiative to analyze the current situation and future challenges of feminism in the region. The aim of this action is to gather the perspectives and reflections of diverse women to conduct an analysis of the present situation and complete a radiography of the region.
The 'Mintzodromoa' will consist of two phases: first, a listening phase will be carried out in four towns in Aiaraldea. Specifically, on October 1st at the women's center in Aiara, on October 7th at the Okondo Cultural Center, on October 22nd at the Villa Fe building in Amurrio, and on November 2nd at the Artziniega Cultural Center.
Subsequently, on November 29th, the meeting to define future strategies will be held at the Faktoria in Laudio. There, realities and factors gathered town by town will be shared, and together a short and medium-term strategy will be developed.
Bor-bor has placed great importance on this exercise, as the conclusions drawn will guide the association's path in the coming years. Therefore, they have called on all women and gender dissidents to participate in the local sessions, with the aim of continuing to empower and network through Euskera.
All sessions will start at 18:00, free of charge, with the sole exception of the meeting on November 29th, which will begin at 12:00. During the meeting, there will also be an opportunity to see an exhibition of Bor-bor's journey. This project will be carried out thanks to the support of the Provincial Council of Álava and the Laudio City Council.
