The Tipi-Topa program, organized by the Lezo City Council, has resumed its Thursday sessions, offering walks for residents over 60 years old.

After a summer break, Lezo's Tipi-Topa program has begun its new academic year. Every Thursday, participants will complete routes in the surrounding areas. Those undertaking the longer route will depart at 10:45 AM, followed fifteen minutes later by those opting for the shorter option.
The council reminds the public that the initiative is open to all citizens, though it is primarily aimed at seniors over 60 and individuals who do not regularly engage in physical activity. Beyond promoting exercise, the program seeks to "care for the physical and mental well-being of participants and strengthen social relationships".
They note that the routes are "safe" and adapted for individuals with walking difficulties. "Participants will have the support of local volunteers throughout the walk, as well as the guidance of the municipality's Sports Orientation Service", they indicate.
Upon completing each designated route, all participants will reconvene in front of the town hall to enjoy a hot broth.
The council advises that pre-registration is not necessary; attendance at Gurutze Santuaren plaza on Thursdays is sufficient. Furthermore, the council encourages residents to join Tipi-Topa, describing it as "an excellent opportunity to strengthen bonds and enjoy a pleasant walk through the town's streets in good company".
