The municipality of Usurbil will continue its Goazen Kalera initiative throughout August, promoting community interaction and mutual care through weekly walks held every Tuesday from 10:30 to 12:00.

This program, promoted by the Usurbil City Council in collaboration with local entities, aims to alleviate loneliness among the elderly during the summer months, when local services often reduce their hours or the town becomes quieter.
Participation is free and does not require prior registration. After the walks, which start at the local fronton, participants are invited to enjoy a coffee and socialize at the Artzabal day care center.
The scheduled dates for August are the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. For further information, residents can visit the social services office on Kale Nagusia or call 943 371 951.
